Last year we stayed at your "Lodge" and this year we are at your "Creekside Retreat" --- what a fabulous place! You certainly didn’t leave anything out! The hot tub was heavenly, relaxing in the Hammock, over looking the babbling brook.  Thanks for making this years memories even more spectacular than last years.

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for the luxurious accommodations provided at the Walch Creekside Retreat. From the moment we arrived, we all were in awe of the peaceful surroundings, the constant churn of the creek below and the dance of the Hummingbirds --- all providing a release of tension we didn’t realize we had. We had come from different parts of the country to meet for our family reunion --- the cabin became the center of our universe.

There was nothing like awakening to the smells sausage cooking and fresh brewed coffee. After a quick dip in the Jacuzzi --- we were ready to start our day --- whether hiking or shopping or simply watching the moon rise over the valley --- this was truly a vacation. Thanks for sharing Creekside retreat with us.

We arrived to find your Internet pictures of Creekside cabin did not do justice to the spectacular home and surroundings. What a beautiful retreat!. It took us just a few minutes to high tail it down to the creek --- we had a wonderful time --- and are already planning our next years vacation.

We enjoyed the beautiful stream -- and the sound it made at night --- but man that water was cold --- my grandmother and I stuck our toes in --- but only once! The 2 mile hike to the water fall is tough ---but worth it. We loved everything from the comfortable beds, to the games and the wonderful views from the two wrap around decks --- especially looking down on the creek.

Many thanks to the Walch family for such a wonderful piece of Heaven. We slowed down a bit and enjoyed the beautiful cabin and surroundings --- we encountered much wildlife on our hikes ---actually thinking we encountered the tracks of a bear and cries in the distance from a Mountain Lion ---- or the surroundings foster thoughts of ancient times in these mountains. After Horseback riding, hiking, visiting local mines we couldn’t find time for everything!
